Our monthly parent and student engagement meetings take place at OCPS ACE every first Tuesday.

What is the goal of the L.I.T. program?
L.I.T. helps kids become great leaders through sports and helping others. We use coaching and fun activities to teach you how to be a good person and a role model.
How can students apply to join?
To begin, submit an interest form via our site’s 'Register Now' link. Every academic year, we welcome 20 new applicants into our program. Once you are part of the L.I.T. family, you are a member for the long haul.
What are the key areas of focus?
Our core focus areas include character building, leadership development, financial literacy, and career readiness to prepare students for school and community impact.
Who can participate in the program?
Our initiative serves youth motivated to grow as leaders. We primarily accept 7th and 8th graders dedicated to local impact, while our 9th grade alumni continue their journey by serving as mentors and volunteers for the program.
How can parents get involved?
Families are essential to our mission. We invite you to connect via our contact form to discover volunteer roles and ways to champion your child’s progress. Additionally, we encourage all parents to join our monthly engagement sessions to stay active in our community.
